Safety Policy
Safety: our priority at TRAD.
At TRAD, safety is not just a component of our activities—it is the cornerstone of everything we do. We are committed to implementing strict health and safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure every experience is as safe as it is thrilling. This dedication protects not only our clients but also our team of professional guides.

Certification and Expertise
Our guides hold internationally recognized certifications, such as those from the AEGM (Spanish Association of Mountain Guides) and UIMLA (Union of International Mountain Leader Associations). They are deeply familiar with the geography, weather, and challenges of the Lofoten Islands, and their training and expertise allow them to deliver a safe, professional, and tailored experience.

Preparation Before Every Activity
Before starting any adventure, our guides will provide a briefing with clear instructions on potential risks and necessary safety measures. We believe that clear communication is key to maintaining safety and helping you understand any situations that may arise during the activity.

Collaboration and Mutual Trust
To ensure a safe experience, we rely on collaboration from our participants:
-
Pre-activity information: It is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions, medications, or specific fears (such as a fear of heights) before starting the activity.

-
Communication during the activity: If at any point you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please communicate this to your guide. Our team will work with you to find the most appropriate solution.

-
Personal responsibility: We trust our participants to follow the guides' instructions, act responsibly, and respect the natural environment to minimize their impact.

Decision-Making in the Field
During the activity, the guide has the final authority to make decisions based on weather, terrain, and group safety. These decisions will always be communicated transparently and with the goal of protecting everyone involved.

Terms and Conditions
By participating in our activities, you agree to do so at your own risk, as climbing and mountain excursions are inherently risky sports.
-
Mandatory insurance: All participants must have adequate travel insurance that covers mountain activities.

-
Liability disclaimer: TRAD and its guides are not financially responsible for any accidents that may occur during our activities.

-
By registering, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.

Your Safety is Our Mission
At TRAD, we believe that an unforgettable experience begins with trust and safety. Our goal is to help you enjoy the beauty of nature and the thrill of adventure, knowing you are in capable hands.
