Welcome to TRAD. By using our services, whether through our website, activities, or any other means, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any of the services provided by TRAD, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as any additional policies published on our website.

2. Description of Services

TRAD offers adventure, climbing, and outdoor activities in Lofoten, Norway. These include climbing routes, courses, hiking, and other active tourism services tailored to our clients’ needs, including customized packages for hotels.

3. Booking Activities

Bookings can be made through our website or by directly contacting our team.

  • To confirm a booking, full payment or a deposit is required as per the agreed terms.

  • Activities are subject to availability and may change due to factors such as weather or safety conditions.

4. Payment Terms

  • All payments must be completed before the activity, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Cancellation or modification of bookings may incur fees in accordance with our cancellation policy.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • If you cancel more than 7 days in advance, a full refund will be provided.

  • If you cancel 7 days or less before the activity, no refund will be issued.

  • If TRAD cancels an activity due to safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or reschedule the activity.

  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email.

6. Weather-Related Cancellations

  • No refunds will be issued if an activity is interrupted due to weather conditions.

  • When weather or conditions make the planned activity impractical, the guide will propose an alternative, such as another guided activity or course.

  • If extreme weather conditions make outdoor activities impossible, the guide will cancel and issue a full refund.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • Following all instructions provided by the guide or TRAD staff during activities.

  • Informing us of any medical or physical conditions that may affect their participation in the activities.

  • Obtaining personal insurance that covers mountain and climbing activities.

  • Properly using the equipment provided at all times.

TRAD is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during activities unless caused by direct negligence on the part of TRAD.

8. Safety

Safety is our top priority. All our guides are trained and experienced in the activities we offer. However, clients acknowledge that adventure activities such as climbing and hiking carry inherent risks, and by participating, they assume these risks.
Clients must ensure they have personal insurance covering mountain and climbing activities.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including texts, images, logos, and graphics, is protected by copyright. Reproduction or distribution of our content without explicit permission from TRAD is prohibited.

10. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

TRAD reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with the date of the latest update. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes related to these terms will be resolved in the competent courts of Norway.
